Kate Bramley- Company Director of Badapple- has designed a flexible ‘play in a day’ session for Year 6-8 pupils to take a practical look at ‘Macbeth’ ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ or ‘Romeo and Juliet’ as part of the Shakespeare element of the curriculum.

The students use a pared down text that still uses the archaic language and learn to physicalise different characters within the drama. The emphasis is on understanding the story of the piece, with an optional presentation performance at the end of the school day for classmates and/ or parents.
